What a great experience! You have done a wonderful job with this park. Love the paved camping areas and rails. We also used the electricity (30 amp)

Again great job! Wonderful camping trip. We look forward to returning sometime.

Nice clean wooded campground. However, even though the website said that there was potable water available it was turned off when we got there. We had to backtack 10 miles to a store to fill up. Not acceptable.

4

Very nice campground, clean facilities, great walking trails, very private. Some sites are on the small side and back right up to the fire pit if you have a large trailer.

Excellent visit as always. Camp site was clean and prepared for us. Bath house was clean also. No complaints. We'll always stay here when we camp in this area.

3

Nice area but sites close together, only bathroom is at entrance. A large group of off-roaders came in and each evening they did their repairs- with power tools, cutting, grinding, replacing. Sounded like an auto body shop. Peace and tranquility? Absolutely not.

I stayed for a week and it was pretty great. You have to watch some of the spots as some of them wouldn't be good for long campers. I stayed on spot 35 for most of the time there and it is probably one of the better sites for campers. Bring lots of leveling blocks with you. I would have rated 5 stars if not for 2 reasons. The first was I was asked to change sites mid-week because of the need to cut a tree down. This was a huge inconvenience as I had a lot of gear to move. The second is that the bathrooms only get cleaned once a week. Which is unacceptable, even without the dangers of covid. Luckily I used my camper bathroom 95% of the time. The road into the campground is terrible, I couldn't even call it a gravel road, it is basically natural rocks and packed stone that is extremely rough on your camper getting in. Take your time though and you'll be fine. The campground itself is paved.

We had a wonderful time during our stay. Bathhouse was very clean. Fellow campers were very nice. It was a beautiful place. Our only drawback for campsite was no internet and phone service access at campsite. My husband did find out later in week that he could pick up internet parked at outpost toward Denton on our sprint mobile WIFI modem, but I had to drive into the towns (either Troy or Denton) before T MOBILE connectivity would happen for 5G phone. For me, I had scheduled to work remotely for 2 days that week so off to towns I went to gain access to HOTSPOT for laptops which was definitely a drawback.

The campground is showing it’s age! Fire rings and retaining wall are falling apart!
