What Guests Are Saying
Big Bend offers a peaceful and family-friendly camping experience with clean facilities, spacious sites, and beautiful lake views. Many guests appreciate the well-maintained grounds, friendly staff, and easy check-in process. However, some campers noted issues with overgrown grass and a lack of shade in certain areas, along with concerns about stickers in the grass, which could be problematic for pets. Overall, visitors typically enjoy their time at Big Bend and plan to return.

This is our 33rd year coming to Canton Lake. We’ve stayed at Big Bend from Canadian 30 years ago. The site is great with nice facilities, water & electricity on each camp site. Since we usually fish the river coming into the lake, the location is only 2 miles away. Camp Host is always great & helpful with anything we need, even though change year to year. Although the fishing was slow this year, we will be back next year. My only request: although you can’t do any about it, is slow down OKC from draining the lake/river for their drinking water so much.

Nice quiet campground with great level sites. My only complaint is that the shower house in loop A needs to be redone. My husband said it's not possible to sit on the toilet AND close the door in any of the stalls so he had to drive over to loop B. All the showers drain badly and it's hard to keep anything dry.
