What Guests Are Saying
Big Bend offers a spacious and peaceful camping experience with well-maintained sites, many shaded areas, and a nice restaurant at the dam. Reviewers appreciated the friendly staff and clean facilities, with many expressing a desire to return. However, some noted issues with overgrown grass and stickers, which could make it difficult for pets and outdoor activities.

We would not visit this campground again. The gate attendant was friendly. Except for being on Canton Lake, we did not care for the weeds, trash, deteriorating asphalt pads and tons of spiderwebs hanging from the walls atop cover.
We had 2 nights reserved but left after staying just one.

This is our 33rd year coming to Canton Lake. We’ve stayed at Big Bend from Canadian 30 years ago. The site is great with nice facilities, water & electricity on each camp site. Since we usually fish the river coming into the lake, the location is only 2 miles away. Camp Host is always great & helpful with anything we need, even though change year to year. Although the fishing was slow this year, we will be back next year. My only request: although you can’t do any about it, is slow down OKC from draining the lake/river for their drinking water so much.
