Big Bend offers a spacious and peaceful camping experience with well-maintained sites, many shaded areas, and a nice restaurant at the dam. However, some noted issues with overgrown grass and stickers, which could make it difficult for pets and outdoor activities.

The missing star is because The water spicket was in an unusual position and it required us to buy a new water hose since ours was only a 30 ft hose. The recreation area across the lake was amazing and it was nice having the disc golf course right there.

Nice quite location. Plenty of shade in the spot we had. Just wished there were full hooks available.

Perfect spot for rent right by the water. Not far from shower house.

Nice site nd amenities and pleasant view of the lake. The water level is a bit low but otherwise it was enjoyable. Bait shops on the lake are closed Monday & Tuesday but otherwise good access to shopping needs.

This is a beautiful place with excellent views. (Big Bend Site: B32) It is very relaxing. I would give it a five star if there were sewer hookups so you could stay longer without having to break camp to go to the dump station. However, that is probably why we were able to find such a nice lake area available. Conclusion...for a 3 to 4 night stay it is perfect!
