Big Bend offers a spacious and peaceful camping experience with well-maintained sites, many shaded areas, and a nice restaurant at the dam. Nice lake, and the location/area is good, however, the campsites look as though nobody gives a crap. Spider webs all over the disintegrating picnic table pergola, inside the electrical box. Water spigots at many sites are placed very far from where you connect to the RV. Weird.

Big Bend is our favorite camp ground, grounds are well kept, bath house is older but clean, people are nice

This was a quick change of plans. On line schedule ok but I didn't know the maps so once there, with another couple in their rig, we found we were on opposite sides. Gate shack closed for season so went on line and changed right there.
All good but once got to sites they all had signs as booked.....omgoodness...I ran up to camp host and he said all good they do that so peeps don't just come in and land without scheduling or probably paying.
Great site right on the lake. On list as a come back if in region....easy in and out

The amount of goat head stickers made it pretty difficult to enjoy much. The walking trail was so full of them that it was nearly impossible to use. And we’d pick up half a dozen each and every time we walked around the site with the dogs.
But the grounds are beautiful and the area is nice! We saw a badger, some prairie dogs, and we loved our spot! Would come back but will plan ahead for the gnats and the stickers

Very nice park and RV sites, beautiful lake but it was too windy the weekend we were there to be outside much. The guys fished from the (rock lined) bank a couple of times. Explored the tiny town of Canton, went to Watonga Cheese Festival, drove an hour to Weatherford to the Stafford Air and Space Museum. All in all a nice place to camp/RV

Love the campground. The sites are nice. Only negative is the stickers. The dogs have a tough time with them.

Campsites needed to be mowed. Saw no park officials. No security.
