Beautiful Park, big open sites. My only recommendation would be to put storm shelters at each campground. We had to drive a mile and a half to a shelter during a tornado warning.

Big bend is a nice place to camp. The water side is great to fish off of. I only wish there were covers over the tables on the water side and I would camp there every time I stayed at canton. The trees could be trimmed a little bit higher on the road and our fishing poles were almost smashed by a huge dead limb that fell by the water. My only complaint was a few camping spots down a family had 3 large dogs ( German shepherd, Rottweiler, Lab ) and the owner brought them down by the water to use the restroom by our campers and did NOT clean up after them. I’m all for having your pets with you at the lake but don’t let them poo by other people then not clean up after them. There is plenty of open space far away from the other campers that you can take them to do there business.

Pretty good site. Great view of the lake; peaceful and clean. One item to note is that the 30 amp receptacle is loose so be careful. My plug came out a couple times. Restroom/showers are nearby and well maintained. One of the staff members was very helpful in directing me to the dump station. Overall a great stay and we'll be back again.

We always enjoy camping here. Most of the campsites have a view of the lake so it’s really neat. Beautiful place.

Big Bend campsites, both A & B are excellent campgrounds. They are so peaceful and beautiful scenery. Water and electricity at each site. Our campsite is always clean, litter free and well kept grass.
The only negative I would say is that sometimes (not every campsite) the pavement seems a bit narrow so when you step down the steps of your trailer you can land on a bit of a hump. Also, there are some dead trees, or trees that are dying that could stand to be removed and replaced.
