What Guests Are Saying
Big Bend offers a spacious and peaceful camping experience with well-maintained sites, many shaded areas, and a nice restaurant at the dam. It would be nice if they would install covers over the picnic tables on all the campsites.

Really enjoyed this park, the sites were big, enough room away from ajacent sites. Good fishing, took the grand kid’s swimming (opposite ) across dam from our site. We were at B-28, all the sites on this side of the road great. I only regret we had only 2 nights there. Will definitely revisit. It only cost us half price because we have an America the Beautiful pass.

View was amazing, but our site had no shade. Rocks made it almost impossible to kayak from or to our camp site. No opportunity to swim from our camp either. Only had a port-a-potty and no showers to speak of.

This is our favorite place pace to camp in Oklahoma. Our only complaint is that the campgrounds a being taken over by stickers. We spent a lot of time removing them from our shoes and dogs feet. Otherwise the campground is well maintained with beautiful views and spacious campsites!

Many of the sites are shaded which is a plus! In the section of campground we stayed in, only one "row" have lake access but some of the other rows have lake views. There is rock rip-rap which makes it hard to get to the water and to pull a boat up to your site. Most sites are maintained well - only negative is the bathhouses. They are not cleaned and are in need of repair.

The 30 amp breaker at the campsite I stayed in was weak from being tripped too many times and continually tripped with very little load on it.
