Big Bend offers a spacious and peaceful camping experience with well-maintained sites, many shaded areas, and a nice restaurant at the dam. Not as well kept camping areas. Needed a grass cutting. Otherwise very good.

We love Big Bend at Canton Lake. This time however, the stickers were so bad! The grass was at least 6” tall and the stickers were everywhere! Our kids had them in their legs, we had stickers in the boat and travel trailers.
I am still finding stickers in my vehicle….we will definitely be checking out the mowing situation before staying again.

Would like to have better internet & phone reception. If I recall a few years ago it was a lot better. This past year the cell service and internet connections have been terrible. We have been there through a few storms this past year and I would like to be able to pull the radar up on my phone and it's debatable some times whether I'm going to have service or not. Otherwise I love Big Bend.

My 1st time camping at Big Bend, comma found the staff to be helpful and knowledgeable. My site was right on the lake, which offered a beautiful sunrise and a cool breeze off the lake.
