Big Bend offers a spacious and peaceful camping experience with well-maintained sites, many shaded areas, and a nice restaurant at the dam. Great sites right on the lake. I would prefer to have the dump colocated with the camp site but the dump location was convenient enough and easy to access. Canton Lake is a great little lake.

Great sites that are spacious and like the covered area over the grill and picnic tables. Almost every site has a water view. Playground is a little dated with older equipment but kids still had a blast.

We love camping at Big Bend B on Canton Lake!! Our favorite spots are on the water side but the camp spots right across the road all have awnings built over the picnic table area. Those are great spots too!! The advantage of the water side is the grandkids can fish anytime they’re not on the boat with grandpa. Our 9yr old grandson caught a 5# 19.5 inch beautiful big mouth bass from shore our last trip!! That boy was beyond excited!! We are winter Texans during the winter and spend a couple months each summer in the Black Hills of South Dakota. When we are home in between those trips Canton Lake is our go to place!! There are very nice playgrounds in both A & B campgrounds too! The spots in B area are all 50amp. Spots in A area are a mixture of 30 & 50 amps. There are water hookups at all spots but no sewer!! Canadian Campground on Canton Lake was always covered in sand burrs so we don’t use those spots because of our small dog. Those are beautiful spots too, it’s just the stickers in our dog’s feet that keeps us away.

We absolutely loved our 3 nights in Big Bend. The first night our 30 amp breaker tripped several times and it was fixed the very next morning 30 mins after reporting it. We have always enjoyed our stays and are always welcomed with friendly smiles! Campgrounds are clean and well kept with ample room for parking, toys, games, etc.

I enjoyed the park. I had a nice spot on a little peninsula into the lake. Weather got a little scary but, hey, that's part of camping to.
