Big Bend offers a peaceful and family-friendly camping experience with clean facilities, spacious sites, and beautiful lake views. Many guests appreciate the well-maintained grounds, friendly staff, and easy check-in process. We were confronted by the gate people many times and we were bothering no one then they reported to Blaine county Sheriff that on our three lots we had too many tents and on three lots we had one camper and four tents which is one less tent than allowed and because of the weather the parents of a small baby move closer to their parents to help them we had one tent across the line! We "will not" plan another family gathering at this lake!

One of the best camp grounds at the lake. Shady with good view. Gate keepers friendly and helpful.

The only problem was the neighbors dogs. They had 2 labs, and had them chained to the trees. They barked quite a bit, and then it would get my dog barking, who was in my trailer. The neighbors left their dogs chained all night. Very disturbing. Then, during the day, said neighbors drank heavily and played their music full throttle. We couldn't even enjoy the outdoors.

Our group has been staying at Big Bend since 1990's and have always enjoyed it. It is normally very quiet and campgrounds are always kept up and clean. The Camp Host have changed over the years but they always find very helpful and kind people. Close to where we like to fish, so it is very convenient. We plan on many return visits.
