What Guests Are Saying
Big Bend offers a spacious and peaceful camping experience with well-maintained sites, many shaded areas, and a nice restaurant at the dam. Reviewers appreciated the friendly staff and clean facilities, with many expressing a desire to return. However, some noted issues with overgrown grass and stickers, which could make it difficult for pets and outdoor activities.

When we arrived, someone was in one of our parking space. We had to wait for almost an hour and a half to get set up.

When I was making my Reservation Online, the Space I chose did not give the Option for 30 AMP. or 50 AMP. My RV was a 50 AMP and when I connected my Electric Service, I had to use a "Dog Bone" adapter. This caused us to have to run 1 AC at a time. We survived because of Cooler weather. This would have been tuff to survive in 100 degree heat.
My suggestion is to show a Electric AMP for every Site before reserving site.

The only thing that would make it better is if you had full hookups.

Didn't do much fishing. Too windy, but enjoy the relaxation of camping. Sites are well kept. Have grown up on Canton Lake OK Never disappointed

Weather was great . Camp ground in great shape , camp host friendly . Had one issue with a neighbor south of our camp site burning a camp fire that smoked the whole time we were there . And of course the wind was out of the south east , blowing the smoke right into our camper .I guess that is part of the deal !

This site was good and the camp host was super friendly, though I really didn't like the crazy amount of black and red beetles everywhere. They were all over the ground and picnic table, which made sitting down for meals less than appealing.
