What Guests Are Saying
Big Bend offers a spacious and peaceful camping experience with well-maintained sites, many shaded areas, and a nice restaurant at the dam. Reviewers appreciated the friendly staff and clean facilities, with many expressing a desire to return. However, some noted issues with overgrown grass and stickers, which could make it difficult for pets and outdoor activities.

Able to back right up to the lake and had plenty of room for our 40’ 5th wheel, truck, car, and boat.

We have stayed 3 separate weekends Since purchasing our trailer in August 2020. We have stayed in A section each time; each campsite has It’s own advantages and they have been great!
The campgrounds are very clean and well maintained. The gate attendants are always available for any questions and very helpful. They do a terrific job maintaining the grounds.
Our latest stay was in A22..... AWESOME lake view BUT the bugs (Bees, flies, dragon flies, & spiders) were quite thick. We hadn’t experienced that at the other sites. The lake view was terrific.
Haven’t decided where we will stay next but it will be soon!

Great location, park attendant Kelly helped us book a same day spot and set up an account. Park was clean and quiet at night when we went to bed. Woke up to the sunrise over the lake.
