Big Bend offers a spacious and peaceful camping experience with well-maintained sites, many shaded areas, and a nice restaurant at the dam. However, some noted issues with overgrown grass and stickers, which could make it difficult for pets and outdoor activities.

Campsite was in very good condition. I reserved online and got to campsite late and did not know I needed to check in with host next morning...so when I left I think he was upset when I did not stop on way out. I know better now. Thank you,

I had reservations about camping in Big Ben from the google satellite map, but when we got there it was so pretty. We wished we could stay longer. *** if you need to dump tanks do it before you go in to register. The dump station is outside the actual park. ****

Sites clean, well kept but one has to fight weeds and tall grass to get close to the water. More attention was paid to freezbie golf course then to lake view. Not small boat friendly.
