What Guests Are Saying
Big Bend offers a spacious and peaceful camping experience with well-maintained sites, many shaded areas, and a nice restaurant at the dam. Lot we stay in back up to the water. It would have been a great place to spend a few days if hadn't got cold and we had to stay inside.

Our stay was great. Windy, but great. Nice, quiet park. We had issues with the reservation system. First it said First come first served after Oct 7th. We found out from the Camp Host that that was not true. Had considerable difficulty selecting days to reserve. Maybe my lack of skill on the computer, maybe unclear instructions. Whatever, we finally got it done and enjoyed our five day stay. We always do! And we will reutrn in the spring when the campground opens again.

Camp site was good and well kept up. Bath rooms and showers were cleaned every day. Camp workers were very good and helpful.

Very nice campground, clean and well kept! The only downside was the wasps. We were stung 3 times! No fault of the park or it's management. They are attracted to food and drinks!
