Sites and surrounding area clear and clean for the most part. Had an armadillo and opossum as well as squirrels and birds as visitors. Enjoyed your stay.

We stayed at site 11 in tents. We made it work. The site is not set up for tent use. Site 11 is rocky, slopes, and drainage pipes run right down the middle. Raccoons are terrible! even with all the food hidden in the vehicles. they invaded us all night long the whole week, except when it rained. Rain run off caused the tents to leak. We were to far from the beach so we didn't make it over there. Site 11 is all shade. it is right next to the playground which kept my 7yr. old happy. It was the only site avail. for our stay. The place was quiet, even on the weekend with full capacity. I was amazed! We were probably considered the noisy ones... Would I stay at site 11 again? well, yes if I had no other choice. Raccoons, rain, and beach being to far away is what made it not fun. Playground, fishing, being outdoors is what made it fun. Everyone there was super nice. The campgrounds/bathrooms/showers are clean.
