The campground was excellent. There was lots of shade which would have helped if the weather wasn't raining for 3 days. The lake is beautiful and the food at the lodge next door was amazing. Will definitely be going back up again when the cost of diesel goes down.

Everything went great. Camp was clean and well taken care of. Both sets of Camp Host were fantastic. I'll be back as soon as I can.

Beautiful Campground, lake is striking. I tent camped by the lake and had neighbors that were loud past quiet hours, until 1am playing music, games and being inconsiderate. Wish Campground host could of handled it but they are on other side of Campground in a sound proof RV. Other than that pleasant experience.

Love Aspen point! Love lake of the woods! We go to Lake of the Woods every year. Great place to recreate, boating, fishing, swimming or have a lovely quiet walk. Didn't care for the spot we had this time because it's narrow and sloped. You can't see that from the picture when you reserve. Had to go back into town to buy more leveling blocks to prop up the back end to get it somewhat level. Fire pit and picnic table is located at the back of your RV. Not much room to extend the awning either. Too many overgrown bushes on both sides. You don't really know that when you reserve on line. Next time I will get a bigger site. There are not many details online about the space. So it would be nice to know those details. But in general it's a beautiful place. Kept very clean. The host was very nice. You feel very safe camping there. Will definitely be back next season.

Great location near Lake of the Woods and other surrounding Forests.
Camp trails are connected to the Lake. Although mostly full and close there is enough ground cover and trees to give privacy. Bathrooms could use attention.

Good place to put up our tent for the night. Quiet and clean, with great access to the lake where my children enjoyed finding small frogs. Some smoke from nearby fires, but otherwise we had a great time.

Nice spot can walk to lodge,
It would be nice to clear some rocks away from shore line so some of us would be able to enter water closer to our camp sites. I've camp there the last few years and have enjoyed it every time.
