South Shore Campground offers spacious sites with great lake access, making it a favorite for many families and campers. Suttle Lake and the campground overall are great and we will definitely be back! Unfortunately, #12 is perhaps the worst campsite on the grounds. The features online said it had shade which was not the case and although it said lakefront, you couldn’t see the lake at all even though it was right there. Probably one of the few spots that close where you can’t see the lake. All this to say, definitely camp at Suttle lake but if there’s another spot available other than #12, I’d pick that one.

Campsite #9 was beautifully positioned in the middle of the lake with easy access to the trail and the water. Both sunny and shaded which was lovely depending on the time of day. Close to the water and bathrooms. Campgrounds were clean and tidy and obviously well maintained. Our entire group had a great experience!

We had sites 1,2,3, and 5. 1 wasn't as long as it's listed, 2 was longer. 1 didn't get the wind the others do. 2 and 3 shared a huge area together nice for groups, hopefully you have good neighbors if your not together, but it is huge! 1,2, and 3 have nice paths to the water!

The weather was awful, but the campground was fine. There were two sites that ran generators pretty much the entire day which was loud.
