We liked the campground. Although the site I picked wasn't the best, it was a good size. Going by the Recreation.gov website it looks like sites 11,12 and 13 are on the water. yes and no. The site was on the water but in between is poison ivy, thick brush and a 50' drop. The inside loop sites are much nicer with lake views. Less than half of the sites offer electric and water. But, in our case that is fine, That limits the amount of campers and we like quiet. As in most campgrounds we have visited there are speed limit and one way signs that most people don't see, read or obey. But, it is a nice campground, the host, Darlene is very nice and we will go back again but will try for a different site.

NEED SIGNS DIRECTING TO THE CAMPGROUND. Very, very narrow road but once you get to the campground it's very nice. Host is very helpful & pleasant.

Just wanted to say campground was awesome very laid back and peaceful. The lake was beautiful good fishing caught two nice size carp and seen plenty of small mouth getting landed. The host Darlene was so inviting very helpful and always available. We had some nasty rain and storms even a tornado warning and she came around and informed all the campers and told us the safest place to go just incase. Will definitely go back reasonable price and spaced out sites.

A very nice site, with a fantastic host, Darlene. Always creates you with a smile and helpful beyond normal responsibilities. Not only did she help me back into my site, she also provided plastic and help me cover my broke window.
