Not a nice campground. Not attractive…trees overgrown, no view of waterway. Drinking water was not potable, according to signs at the campsite.

Upon arrival, we were told by the camp host that rec.gov informed her we would have to leave the next morning by 10AM even though our reservation was for two nights. That same day, a ranger had called me earlier to tell me there were bees at my site and I'd have to move to a tent site with no electric. Ranger said nothing about having to leave the site early. Worst booking experience with a campsite ever. I still like the campground though.

If I would have known that I was allowed a generator, I could have kept my battery charged. Discovering that National Parks allow generators prompted me to go right out and get one of the quiet ones. Am looking forward to a more full camping experience on non electric sites at Bush and Shenango

Quiet campground with nice views of the lake. Lots of water activities to do.
Signage to the campground and throughout the campground to point out where numbered sites are would be a great addition.

This is by far my favorite place to camp in the area for a multitude of reasons, including the fact that the natural environment is beautiful, well-maintained and pristine. The campsite itself is luah with greenery, large with picnic tables and yard, private and large enough to fit RVs a s tents. You are assured privacy in your surroundings and are respected by staff and other campers at all time. The camp bathrooms are clean and the showers are modern and beautiful in construction. I have been pleasantly surprised by this campsite every step of the way. I highly recommend a stay at Bush's! You will be at peace with the natural and man made surroundings.
