We had a fantastic time at Bush Recreation! The site was clean and could view the lake. Darlene, our camp host, was extremely helpful with setting up and taking down for these first time TT campers! She was always ready to be helpful. Very accommodating! Will definitely return!
A camp store would be nice and maybe bike rentals? But stores are nearby. The kayak rental was amazing especially since they brought the kayaks to our door and picked them up as well!
Very peaceful and quiet 5 night stay!

Site 28 with electric hookup, no issues with the site itself. Our hostess, Darlene, checked on us often and was very sweet. We got to meet the ranger as well, and they both made us feel very welcome. The only issue that we had is the placement of a small dumpster about 15' away from us which was on a site previously used for a movie night/entertainment site. The smell that was coming from the garbage smelled like a dead animal the whole time due to issues from what I assume is a garbage pick up issue since there was a lot there. We have a pop-up camper, so the smell was overwhelming and unexpected and we couldn't escape it. We will not stay at site 28 again until the garbage bin is not there anymore. I imagine hot summer nights in that spot being rough if I can't open my windows for a breeze. I will 100% stay at the park again, but it will not be beside a garbage bin at 28. The rest of the camping grounds and park were well maintained and really nice.

This was our 2 nd year camping at Bush’s Recreation Area. This will be at least a yearly camping spot for our group. The Hosts are always so friendly.

The camp host, Darlene was amazing, helpful and available. Campround is on a hill so we had to level but was not a problem. We went to relax and had a great weekend.

During my stay, Darlene was the camp host. She was very nice and helpful going above and beyond to make sure my stay was safe and comfortable. In my opinion, she deserves a raise in pay.
