NO POTABLE WATER AVAILABLE ANYWHERE IN THE PARK!!!
So not cool to arrive and see absolutely no potable water available. We were lead to believe with our reservation details that there is potable water available. We were surprised to find a water hookup at our site, but soon realized our was one of just a few that didn't have a non potable sign on it, all others did, the spigot at the dump station was disabled, and all other public water spigots had a sign. When we tracked down a host, she was clueless. No one seemed to know why or when it would be restored. It wasn't during our stay.

We were booked for 7days but left after 5 because there was a dog that barked CONSTANTLY for almost two days! The host "couldn't hear it". I have been to a lot of campgrounds and have never seen a host site with so much junk around their camper! Looked like a yard sale was going on. I will say that the ranger asked the offending dog owner to leave, but I had ENOUGH by that point.

This is great place to camp. Our site overlooked the lake and we had a few breezes. The restrooms are exceptional.
You can swim, boat and relax without leaving the campground. There is a bike trail nearby and several historical sites. There are several restaurants within 1O miles.
This is not a resort, it is a great campground for those who want to camp.

Although we enjoyed our stay in the area this campground and recreation area lacks general maintenance and upkeep. Th hosts were very friendly and helpful; as was the office when we wanted to change sites. This small campground and recreation area has potential. Also note that the water is not potable at this time.
