What Guests Are Saying
Sheridan Lake offers great tent and RV camping with spacious, shaded sites and a beautiful lakeside location, perfect for families and outdoor enthusiasts. The clean facilities and friendly hosts enhance the overall experience, despite some concerns about limited infrastructure and cellular service. While some campers noted noise from generators and construction, many found the setting peaceful and enjoyable, making it a desirable spot for future visits.

We stayed two nights at two different sites at the South campground. The views were outstanding! Both sites were very well set up and clean. If it weren't for an individual neighbor playing loud country music for hours in the evening, I'd have given this a five star. I finally went over and asked him to turn it down. He was drinking whisky and had an attitude. The wife and I rented a motorboat and cruised the lake in it for a couple of hours. That was fun.

Beautiful campground, well maintained. Did not use bathrooms. Did overhear a woman expressing her concerns over the smell and cleanliness of the bathrooms to staff.

Sheridan Lake Campground is a beautiful place with spacious, well kept sites and gorgeous views all around.
The only downside was that the vault toilets which were not cleaned for days on end during our stay. They were filled with flies, smelled terrible and were simply down right gross. I believe the camp hosts are responsible for cleaning the restrooms and the host in our area clearly was NOT doing his job. This was partially concerning due to the high summer usage in the midst of a global pandemic. Unacceptable, period.

Site is beautiful but don’t arrive too late to your reserved spot or it will be rented out again to someone else. We were running late so arrived in the wee hours only to find a tent in our RV spot. We backed in as far as we could, obviously blocking our new co-renters and they were told that we had reserved the spot and they thought this was a first come first serve site. Nevertheless, we did not awake to the beautiful spot we reserved and someone took their money and let the tent folks share our space.

Noone explained overflow parking, instead they just kept complaining about the vehicles we paid for to have there. Other campers were rude complaining about noise DURING THE RALLY! Your camp sites are obviously too close if the small amount of noise we were making bothered anyone. It was the worst cmping experience we have ever had!
