We love this campground! Well-kept campground. Plenty of nature hikes, Ocoee River is right there and has a park where you can go and play on the rocks! Plenty of kayaking spots if you're into that and its near enough to McKaysville to pick up any essentials you left behind.

Stayed 2 nghts in December, it's a good place to access trails and the Ocoee and still car camp. There was only one other site occupied on the opposite side, but the sites seem pretty close together. I wouldn't camp here during peaks season.
Bathrooms clean and well maintained.

Campsite right on the Ocoee River just below powerhouse #3. Host was friendly, campground and restroom were clean.

You won’t believe how loud it is. It’s so close to a semi truck route. Impossible to sleep more than a few minutes before a downshifting truck blasts into earshot. The campground itself is nice but it’s ridiculous they would build it so cost to a busy Highway. There are always other campgrounds - stay elsewhere. Your sleep is worth it.

The campground was clean and well cared for. A great improvement from a year ago.

This was our second time staying here and we love it. Everything is very clean and well maintained. The site we reverved is awesome and right by the water. You can hear the highway, but the traffic slows down at night and the water helps block some of that noise. Both times we have stayed it has been a very peaceful campground. The showers up front are clean, and the hot water was nice after hiking during the day. The camp host is great too. We will definitely be back.

The campsite itself was fine. However, there was a lot of road noise where the camp is situated all night long and we had a neighbor that pulled into their lot at midnight and stayed up for another hour during quiet hours. We had an okay time but I will look for a more peaceful campground next time.
