The campground is beautiful and clean. The vault toilets needed treatment, the smell was nausea inducing and carried into campsites.
I would stay again.

Paint Creek campground is the best campground ever, it's very peaceful and quite. It is family oriented, no alcoholic beverages allowed there is a camp host on sight and that's a big plus for me. It is well maintained, the water at the park is also chlorinated and checked on a daily basis, it's paved all around the loop. The bathrooms could use a little updating but are kept clean. No complaints here

It was great, so peaceful. I drove by it for years going up the mountain to take Star pictures. I’m planning on reserving again soon. Kid friendly!

Owners of yelping dogs should receive a warning about their dogs continues parking. At camp site 3 the campers had a small dog that parked constantly. They would leave it outside by itself and the dog would bark until they came out to get it. Even when they took it for a walk the dog would bark. At a point peace and quiet is no more and the the owners of the dog should have been asked to leave.

Good quite place to camp. Only problem was the gate was closed at a time different than listed on the signage. The signage said gate closed from 10pm to 6am but the ranger told us it was to be closed 8:30pm to 7:00am. I don't know if that is what happened but the sign needs to reflect the correct closing and opening times.
