A majority of the widely-spaced campsites have streamside views and are screened by a variety of native plants, including rhododendron, hemlock and laurel. Be Bear Wise: Food storage compliance is strictly enforced. Store all food and trash in hard-sided containers and vehicles while not in use. Never have attractants in your tent. The campground is wonderful. We reserved for may the 4th which was the first day they opened for our 13th anniversary. Camp host was wonderful, but we missed our regular host that has been there for every stay we had. The weather was perfect our first 2 days then terrible storms moved in and got very cold lol. Thats to be expected when you camp. It was very quiet and comfortable here and we plan to return very soon. Very clean and great neighboring guests with us.

Off the beaten path. Nice for a primitive campground but the road in and out is narrow and not suitable for large trailers or 5th wheels.

Beautiful campground. The Creek that wraps around the campground provides a white noise that helps all the stress fade away, as you relax in a wonderful serene setting. Host was top notch, and loves helping. I look forward to enjoying this campground for years to come.

Better this time than the last . Rest rooms had been pumped and dumpsters didn’t smell as bad .

Our family has been going to Paint Creek for over 45 years. It is the perfect place to get away from it all. Don't go expecting electricity and luxury bathrooms with showers. Bring your lantern and a bucket to carry water to your campsite, Then sit back, relax by the fire, and let nature recharge your soul.
