Beautiful area with regular Javelina sitings. Mark your arrival by taking a stroll on the nature trail for beautiful sunset photos. If you're over 24' this is the best cg for you however it is a fair distance from some of the more popular trails. Also, if you're hoping to use the showers, they are coin operated and only 1 of the 3 were in working order. Unacceptable really. Store was well stock and the wifi there was excellent. Only Starlink will work in the rest of the park. Dump station was clean and convenient. Gas prices were very reasonable.

We loved this campsite! It was a little far from a lot of attractions in the park, but the facilities were great and the connection to the Rio Grande Village Nature Trail was amazing.

Campsite was clean and sufficiently spacious. Bathroom and dish washing area was handy. Only wish for electric hookup.

Depending on which park host is on duty, you could have a very bad experience if they choose to target you.

Big Bend National Park is a Beautiful, Beautiful place! It is Big for sure. Way to big to visit in one day. Plan on spending a week there if possible. The restroom facilities were not very good. Having to pay for a shower is not acceptable. It is in a remote location, but for sure if I had the opportunity to return I would go!

Camp hosts were amazing. Campground was clean and well maintained. We were able to book a spot the morning of and was lucky we did since they are a very busy spot. They have a bathroom. The showers were located 5 mins away with washer and driers at the little general store. $2 for 5 min hot showers. I would stay here again. We were camping in a tent with no amenities.

We arrived in the dark. Took longer to drive from Fort Worth than we anticipated. Had a brand new tent that we never set up before. And the wind was hurricane force😂. Needless to say we did not have a tent to sleep in the first night but it was my favorite night. Blow up mattress in the bed of the truck under a million stars! Perfect. I loved the hiking trails. Loved crossing to Boquillas. Perfect spring break. Even my grown kids didn’t complain without internet! We’ll be back for sure❤️. Also the camp ground was so clean and had everything we needed. Absolutely beautiful park!
