Holiday, Texas offers a well-maintained campground with spacious sites and beautiful views of the lake, making it a great choice for nature lovers. Many visitors appreciate the friendly staff and the abundance of wildlife, including deer and turkeys. While some facilities, like the bathrooms, could use updates and there are occasional maintenance issues, overall, guests enjoy their stays and often return for the peaceful atmosphere and convenient location near Fort Worth.

This camp is a welcome relief from the noise and chaos of the common campground or RV resort. Beautiful views of the lake, the woods, or the fields, depending on your camp location within the park. The sites are beyond spacious. They are massive. We had enough space for our truck and our fifth wheel, plus room for one or two more. Sites are big and clean. They are well laid out to provide maximum view. Our site was visited by a small herd of 10 deer every morning and evening. To keep the company was a small flock or turkey. The Toms are strutting their stuff, and the hens are ignoring them as usual. The water pressure is high (70 psi), and the power is clean. The camp staff is friendly and helpful. We enjoyed this park and will return sometime in the future.

We were disappointed that they no longer allow extensions. Explanation was the typical response, a few bad apples ruined it for the rest of us. The park was absolutely empty after the Holidays. No reason they can't give retired folks an extension.

I enjoyed a nice quiet stay overlooking the lake, on the bluff. My camper fit nicely on the site and I enjoyed having an electric hookup! The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

We have a group of 3 of us that go camping every month. This park is one of our favorite places.
