What Guests Are Saying
Holiday, Texas offers a well-maintained campground with spacious sites and beautiful views of the lake, making it a great choice for nature lovers. Many visitors appreciate the friendly staff and the abundance of wildlife, including deer and turkeys. While some facilities, like the bathrooms, could use updates and there are occasional maintenance issues, overall, guests enjoy their stays and often return for the peaceful atmosphere and convenient location near Fort Worth.

Really enjoyed the spacious site. Kayaked from lake to up the fork of the Trinity River, hiked on non-maintained trails, biked (non-electric) on road-good rolling ride N. on Lakeview Rd and back. Each campsite is unique with lots of variety. One restroom facility is out of date-no hot water. The other was updated but water only lukewarm-good enough because temp rose above 70 the week we were there.

It was a lovely spot yet when I arrived I noticed the water Spicket was pointing straight up in the air. I mentioned it to the lady at the front gate and was told that it would not be changed.
It was unfortunate that I could hardly use it to wash my dishes. This is unacceptable.

Large parking pads, easy to back into. Beautiful location and peaceful nature setting. Excellent for walks, bike ridding and water activities. Deer, turkeys and even a roadrunner was walking around us all week. I will definitely be staying here again. Close to food and stores, easy access.
