campground is well kept but they need to replace the bath house near the entry. very inconvenient for men to travel to the far end as only the women's side of this bath house is open.

This is a camping trip my wife and I do with my brother and his family every year. We have a blast. The park is clean, the bathrooms are well kept. The other campers are respectful and pleasant to be around. My only critic is, I wish they would fix the water on the part where we camp. We make it ok, but it’s very inconvenient when we stay for a week or longer.

The park has changed the check in time now to 3 pm If you get there before that you are made to wait in an open area outside the park till straight up 3 pm Half the time there is no one at the gate so now you must use a code and hope the gate will open. Leaving the gate the bumper stop is so close to the gate arm that a motor home has difficulty getting out the gate. The grass had not been mowed in several days. Fire ants were everywhere. The fire ring had not been cleaned and there were dead limbs from trees laying in several spots. The people that used to drive thru and check the spots did not do that but once in the 4 days we were there. Overall the park was a mess.

Nice park but needs to be maintained better. Grass was calf high on adults-kids forced to play on concrete. Between unreasonably tall grass, ant hills and downed tree limbs (recent storms) there is attention to maintaining the park to be had. No reason for grass to look like it does. Usually very well maintained and one of our favorite parks. Something has changed

Benbrook Lake is very convenient for visiting family in Ft Worth. The facility is very nice. Spaces are spread out. Bathrooms are clean and work well. Utilities all work well. Good number of trees for shade in most areas, but not too many to tap into Starlink when needed.
