Holiday, Texas offers a well-maintained campground with spacious sites and beautiful views of the lake, making it a great choice for nature lovers. Many visitors appreciate the friendly staff and the abundance of wildlife, including deer and turkeys. While some facilities, like the bathrooms, could use updates and there are occasional maintenance issues, overall, guests enjoy their stays and often return for the peaceful atmosphere and convenient location near Fort Worth.

This was our first visit to this park and camped at sites 79 and 80 with a Boy Scout Troop. This is a very nice campsite on the water. However, it was trashed. We picked up two trash bags of random garbage between the two sites. Also, the bathrooms were not maintained - gross.

I really enjoy camping at Holiday. The only thing that kept me from rating my last visit 5 stars was… a very large group, possibly a family reunion, had absolutely no respect for the quiet hours. We had to hear someone talking, yelling, singing into a microphone until close to 2am. I’m positive that it wasn’t only us who had to endure this!

This visit did not begin smoothly and we were extremely disappointed at how the park hosts/staff handled the issues that were allowed to impact our arrival. However, the remainder of our stay went well. We always enjoy our stay at Holiday. We love the trails, campsites, and the lake.
