Fun place. We stayed in site 9. Pretty level. Only issue was hornets trying to drink from the leaky water spigot.

Wonderful greeters, spacious sites, great value for the location. Never before camped where gates lock at 10 but the option to leave our truck near the gate and walk in after planned outing in Ft. Worth was clearly explained an easy to do. But our stay was negatively affected by poor site cleanliness. Multiple piles of previous camper's dog poop on the pad and surrounding ground. Smell horrible so we were not able to sit outside and enjoy the otherwise scenic park. This is the responsiblity of the dog owners of course but a site inspection by staff would have found what we found. Then, at the dump station, someone left a full, dirty septic hose in the clean out area that had to be moved in order to dump our tanks. Would like to consider a stay another time but very hesitant after this experience.

We camp here often and love the park. It is convenient to Benbrook, Fort Worth, and Granbury. However, it seems like the grounds have not been kept up like it used to be. The grass needs to be mowed and use the weed eater too. They do keep the outside patios clean. The people that work there are friendly.

not enough trees for shade. NOt many good flat spots for tents.

Was disappointed with the upkeep of the main restrooms. We have stayed here several times, each time the restrooms get worse.
The park and Host's as usual are fantastic.

From Interstate 20 or 820 in southwest Fort Worth, Texas, take exit 429A for Highway 377 toward Granbury. Continue for 5.7 miles (9.2 km) and turn left on Pearl Ranch Road. Continue 2 miles east to the park entrance.

Google and Apple Maps will try to direct patrons through the entrance of North Holiday Day Use Park. The only entrance is through US Highway 377 turning on Pearl Ranch Road. Pearl Ranch Road deadends into the campground. |
