It’s very hard to pick a spot when you can only do it online. Ver got to our spot and there was absolutely no shade and even under the roof by the table the sun was just blazing in and it was hot!! We didn’t realize also that we had mistakenly reserved a double spot and paid double. After a phone call we were informed those spots didn’t qualify for the Senior park card that we have so we had a location that was not what we’d hoped for and had paid double. We left after one night! Not sure we’ll ever go back.

This is a beautiful lake. Surprised that there aren’t more campers.

This is a lovely campground close to Austin. We enjoyed staying right on the lake. We appreciated the nice covered picnic areas each site has. The whole campground was quiet and clean. Big rig friendly!

Love the spacious sites. Perfect for large crowd gatherings. Picnic table shelters are generous and very nice. Perfect to hang lights. Dried grasses, to be expected, but thankfully no stickers. Jim Hogg is always our favorite go-to.

Very clean campground, I like how sites are spaced out. You dont fell on top of each other. Great view of the lake,
