Lovely park. Lots of trees therefore shade.
Bathrooms were clean. Showers were iffy, some worked great others usable, but had to push button more often.

Nice big sites and beautiful view of the water. Its hard to get down to the water but it is a nice clear lake. If I were to suggest anything it would be a little safer trail down to the water from the campsites.
We really enjoyed our family campout and would definately go back.

Nice, quiet park located in the middle of Georgetown. The park was clean and the sites are spacious. I will visit again.

We love Jim Hogg and usually come at least once a year. The lake access was great. Do not leave any food out or the ants will come.

Myself and my boyfriend have been twice and have enjoyed it. Easy booking and easy access with codes that are sent ahead of visit.
This last visit was great except for the campers across from us. Quiet hours are 10 to 6. But it was a large group of campers that were up and partying then arguing till 3 in the morning. Had a bright light hanging for their group that was shining straight into our tent/shelter.. I’m sure they were disturbing other campers also, due to the sites being pretty full.

Jim Hogg park needs some work. Lots of trash around our campsite when we arrived. Some wash out on the sides of the parking pad. Overall, a very secure and good park.

Lots of space between campsites that were clean and taken good care of. There were no loud campers and everyone was well behaved. The staff was very helpful and polite.
