Disappointed there was a burn ban- but no fault to the park. It was clean and well kept! We love visiting Jim Hogg!

Great view of the lake. Spot was mowed and kept up with. Wish there was a tree or two for some shade. Was nice to have a direct path to the water. Bathrooms were ok.

We enjoyed our time at Jim
Hogg park. We were at site 113, it was well kept and clean. Someone else mentioned in their review easy back in and view of the lake. It was a sharper turn then expected with trees across the way as well it’s a site that goes uphill. The pad site was not completely level and you will lean towards the passenger side with a large drop off between the pad site and dirt. There is no view of the lake due to drought but even if it was full I don’t feel you would have that large of a view. The covered table was large and very nice. Camp host at check in were friendly and helpful. The bathrooms need an update but were clean.

Campground was great, showers not so much. The weekends were full of several nearby campsites full of tents that stayed up late and were loud. Quiet hours were not enforced. The location was great.
