We liked it a lot. I was a bit confused because on the website it said that there was no burn ban in the campsites, but when we pulled in, there were “no fires” signs all over the place. We still had a good time, but I chose that camp area because it showed on the website that we could have fires.

Beautiful place, friendly staff, clean facilities, and the covered shelters at the sites make it easy to have a wonderful experience here.

Jim Hogg COE park is a great stopover place for us. Close to the I35 as we travel south from the Dallas area, to San Antonio. Lots of different sites for everyone's differing needs. We have a 40' class A towing a jeep and had no difficulty in navigating the park, parking, and water/electric worked well. Lots of shopping for all needs nearby. We will stop here again and again.

It is a very nice park. The only thing the rest rooms and showers need to be updated.

Park is beautiful, with lots of trees and large camping lots. Peaceful, quiet, and felt private. We will be back here when we can enjoy the lake.

Could use some maintenance on rv site parkiing. Holes in pavement where you step out of rv are
little dangerous.
