Beautiful area fer sure will visit again as soon as possible. We TRIED to camp the night we were there, but 25 mph winds sustained and 30 some gusts on a lake peninsula made relaxing camping and cooking impossible, everything was blowing away and had to be nailed down, even the dogs.... so we left before sunset. Had the same experience in Iceland, but here we had a choice to camp or not to. Nevertheless, Dana Peak is amazing, will book a campsite shortly for a return adventure. Cant wait to to be surrounded by that beautiful water, elevated hiking, and kayaking without whitecaps!

I love Dana Peak park. Its my favorite of all parks. Bathrooms are very clean, well supplied and hot water in the showers. The camp sites are near the water and maintained nicely.
