What Guests Are Saying
San Augustine Park is praised for its cleanliness, friendly staff, and beautiful natural surroundings, making it a peaceful getaway for campers. Visitors appreciate the well-maintained facilities, including the restrooms and showers, as well as the scenic views of Sam Rayburn Lake. Some areas for improvement include the need for additional electrical upgrades and more frequent grass maintenance, but overall, guests express a strong desire to return.

Our camping trip was great. We have camped in this park many times. One bench at the picnic table on site 49 has already had a wooden top put over it when a portion of it broke off. The other bench had a section break off. I notified the park attendant and the corps of engineer office. The park has always been our favorite destination

Good trip. The weather could have been better but you can’t control the weather. The park was in good shape and the park personnel were very friendly and helpful.
