What Guests Are Saying
Sandy Creek Park is praised for its peaceful atmosphere, cleanliness, and well-maintained grounds, making it a favorite among campers. Guests appreciate the spacious, level sites, helpful staff, and beautiful views of the lake. However, there are concerns about the outdated restrooms and difficulties with the dump station, which could use some improvement.

It was ok. Minus all the bugs, and not riders at night with their light bars... Since the gate wasn't closed...

I love this spot. It is quiet and clean. The only issue I have is that there are no trash bins on the OFOL, so you have to make a trip to the other side to throw away your trash. I also don’t understand why they didn’t level the sites when they topped the main road. But still it is a hidden treasure.

Everything is very nice.
2 things-
Campers need to take care of their dogs. Cleaning up after them and keeping them quiet for the sake of the other campers.
And please, please outlaw the leaf blowers. It's just leaves, leave them alone, please. There are times when it's all you hear for hours. It can ruin an afternoon. We come here to the campground, in the woods, to get away from noisy neighbors with incessant dogs, and unending leaf blowers, and unnecessarily loud motors.
We just want peace and quiet. Please.

The campground was nice as always and we had a wonderful time. The only thing that could have been better this time was the showers. They are in need of some maintenance something terrible. One of them sprayed straight out due to mineral build up on the shower head. The other shower head fell off the wall when I turned the water on. Other than that our experience was nice as always.
