What Guests Are Saying
Sandy Creek Park is praised for its peaceful atmosphere, cleanliness, and well-maintained grounds, making it a favorite among campers. Guests appreciate the spacious, level sites, helpful staff, and beautiful views of the lake. However, there are concerns about the outdated restrooms and difficulties with the dump station, which could use some improvement.

Love the area and the spot we try to get every time. It’s one of the closest places to camp and feel like you have space and trees, not just rows of cement. The only draw back is there is no where to swim unless you go to Martin Dies Park (Dam B). The only complaint if you want to call it that is a lot of the picnic table covers have built up straw which is an eye sore and damaging to the roofs. Will continue to camp at Sandy Creek.
