What Guests Are Saying
Sandy Creek Park is praised for its peaceful atmosphere, cleanliness, and well-maintained grounds, making it a favorite among campers. Guests appreciate the spacious, level sites, helpful staff, and beautiful views of the lake. However, there are concerns about the outdated restrooms and difficulties with the dump station, which could use some improvement.

The park was nice and quiet. Although the weather wasnβt great, we enjoyed our stay irregardless. The only thing we didnβt care for, was not having a sewer connection and had to use the dump station- which is normally no big deal- however when itβs pouring rain, itβs definitely not the greatest.

Sandy Creek has the appreance of being more crowed, as there are twice as many sites as did Magnolia Ridge and then those sites are stuck in group sections rather than being spread over the length of the lake. Two of the three shower houses that I visited where in need of repair and warmer water would be a puls. This park is also on the Steinhagen Reservoir next to the Dam on the South East side of the lake. Looks like deeper water and more of a view of the lake where Magnolia only has a view of the Swamp.

Itβs takes some time to get to the area but itβs well worth it. The sunrise and sunset is so beautiful. This is a great place to relax.
