What Guests Are Saying
Sandy Creek Park is praised for its peaceful atmosphere, cleanliness, and well-maintained grounds, making it a favorite among campers. Guests appreciate the spacious, level sites, helpful staff, and beautiful views of the lake. However, there are concerns about the outdated restrooms and difficulties with the dump station, which could use some improvement.

We were at site 42. It was lovely and mostly quiet with a good amount of trees for shade. Our kids had a great time riding around the area on their bikes.

It was a great experience. I wish we would have been warned they were going to do road work and close the park instead of having to find out second hand from the host. Which they were great and happy to help. But a little more notice would have been nice.

I have camped at Sandy creek for over 50 years. In those days it was called Smith's point. We camped in mosquito bars. The young folk probably will not know what that is, but boy was there memories. Sandy creek is my favorite place to camp. Sites are clean and restrooms and shower are very clean. No fault of sandy creek but the fishing is terrible. We used to fish all day and have a fish fry at night. If you hadn't been you need to go. You wand regret it!
