What Guests Are Saying
Sandy Creek Park is praised for its peaceful atmosphere, cleanliness, and well-maintained grounds, making it a favorite among campers. Guests appreciate the spacious, level sites, helpful staff, and beautiful views of the lake. However, there are concerns about the outdated restrooms and difficulties with the dump station, which could use some improvement.

I stayed on the OFOL side and loved it. However, there were a few issues that kept this review from being 5 star.
Number 1: No place to put garbage, no cans or no large trash bends on the OFOL side. You have to drive to the other side of the park to put your trash away. This is ridiculous.
Number 2: There needs to be a dump station on the OFOL side. There is a place for a Host, make that area into a dump station it is not being used. You have to drive to the other side of the park and halfway through that side to get to the dump station. There used to be a road access to that area without having to drive through the park. You could re-open that road and put a coded entry for OFOL guest.
Number 3: The Restroom/Showers went a couple of days without attention and needed to be cleaned.
Number 4: Large gator prevented me from Kayaking.

Sandy Creek always has clean restrooms. Our site #75 was on the water, but still had a good shade cover.
