What Guests Are Saying
Sandy Creek Park is praised for its peaceful atmosphere, cleanliness, and well-maintained grounds, making it a favorite among campers. Guests appreciate the spacious, level sites, helpful staff, and beautiful views of the lake. However, there are concerns about the outdated restrooms and difficulties with the dump station, which could use some improvement.

We love this park and stop here whenever we are traveling through. My only recommendation would be to upgrade all the sites to 50 amps.

We always enjoy our time at Sandy Creek. The park is well maintained and usually not crowded. Martin Dies State Park is close by and has good trails. It’s a short drive into Jasper if we need to pick up groceries or eat at Elijah’s ( really good food).
