What Guests Are Saying
Sandy Creek Park is praised for its peaceful atmosphere, cleanliness, and well-maintained grounds, making it a favorite among campers. Guests appreciate the spacious, level sites, helpful staff, and beautiful views of the lake. However, there are concerns about the outdated restrooms and difficulties with the dump station, which could use some improvement.

We enjoyed the peace and quiet. The lake scenery was beautiful. But sad to report that our spot was not cleaned and prepared for our arrival. For instance the previous camper’s children used the concrete for a chalk board. The chalk art was still there. The spot had not been blown off. The grass was extremely tall. It had not been mowed. Then I noticed the attendant came and prepared a spot a few spots away , by mowing it and blowing it off. My neighbor was just as disappointed as I was. Because we noticed it wasn’t just our spots with high grass. Like I said. We enjoyed our time. We just would like a clean spot next time. ☺️
