What Guests Are Saying
Sandy Creek Park is praised for its peaceful atmosphere, cleanliness, and well-maintained grounds, making it a favorite among campers. Guests appreciate the spacious, level sites, helpful staff, and beautiful views of the lake. However, there are concerns about the outdated restrooms and difficulties with the dump station, which could use some improvement.

Been camping here for years. The park is clean and kept up. All the sites inside the park are spacious with table covers.

Our site was disappointing, small, picnic canopy long neglected. The only positive was that it was available over a weekend when we needed it on our roadtrip when weekend sites were scarce. But given the condition, no surprise. The bath houses were awful! Rusty, ancient fixtures, stainless steel toilets, some with no toilet seats. Sinks and showers were same condition and the water was luke warm at best.

Very nice campsite, the one I had was right on edge of lake, friendly staff stopped by to check me in. I was motorcycle tent camping. Only thing would have been better is if it had a few trash cans .

We were in spot 14, 110 ft pull through. Our 44 ft toy hauler and F450 pulled right in. We’ve been here several times. Great place to walk around, walk the pup and enjoy the lake. Areas are clean, restrooms clean. Couldn’t ask for more.

Park Hosts are friendly and very helpful. When I made my original reservation by looking at camp map I chose a site that shows it's on the water, upon arrival I found site ACROSS THE STREET from the water, wasn't happy. Miss Cyndi was able to help me change my site to a waterfront site. AWESOME LADY
