Campsites are clean and roomy. Only complaint is that one of the toilet stalls was without toilet paper for almost 24 hours.

The county roads to the campground are in terrible condition!

Park host or personal on Old Folks Loop mowed grass within 20 ft of camp fire ring. Park host on same loop also played music louder than park rules allow. Also camp across lake at another Sandy Creek park site played music so loud we could not enjoy the peace and quite rest with it and the boom boom boom beat. Even having the Parks and Wildlife ranger visit the site, he only asked them to turn it down. We could still here the music and bass noise which is still unlawful according to park rules.

Been camping here for years. The park is clean and kept up. All the sites inside the park are spacious with table covers.

From Jasper, Texas, take US-190 west for 10 mi. Turn south on FM 777 and travel 2 mi to County Road 155. Turn west and continue 2.5 mi, following signs into the campground.
