Great campground. Katie at the gate is an amazingly kind young woman.
Only suggestion: raise the temp on the water heater a few degrees for us winter tent campers.

nice pull thru site for our big Rig towing. We decided to stay and go to the Magnolia Market and Silos. that was something I have always wanted to do.

The site that we had was missing the roof for the picnic table pavilion. Entry and exit was easy from the highway. We would stay here again if in the area.

Conveniently located for where we were visiting. There were no issues and the lake was beautiful.
Would advise to not choose a site near the highway. We were in a pull thru #31 and there was considerable amount of road noise.
The park itself was very nice, would visit again.

When we arived it was obvious that the park personnel did not make sure the site was clean. The folks who were there before us had left a big rubber boot and some kids shoes. We had to clear the site ourselves.

Great Park and campsite. We took off the day before Thanksgiving heading west from Alabama. The only plan we had was to make it to Texas. When we explored COE campsites in Waco, this seemed to be a good choice. It was. We spent two nights.
Anytime you can get a site at a COE campsite, it is well worth the trouble. But the day after Thanksgiving, this was no trouble. If I ever head that way again, this is on the list.
Next time I will take my time to enjoy the camp more than Waco. Both are great places. We enjoyed our time there.
