Overall the campsite was a good place on the lake with trees to camp yet be close to the city. There was a bit of freeway noise however.

Weather was not good but park is nice. Most sites are lake view. Stayed in site 7 and had plenty of room for 40 foot camper.

camp site was clean, level, large pad. No cover for table. Need to update the photos. The ONLY reason I picked this camp ground was it showed water up to the campsite so I could fish. The water was about 300yrds from the campgrounds.

Just an overnight stay. Camped site 24.
What is a great location with shade. Showers were clean will stay there again.
Lake is very low. It was a Hot dry summer in Texas.

Good place to stay and visit Waco. Campsite was great, view on the Lake, clean Washrooms, very friendly people. Car next to campsite. Felt totally safe as a lone traveling women. Left all my stuff at the campsite whilst exploring Waco without worrying. If you're sensitive to noise, bring earplugs for the highway next to the campsite.
