We are local Waco area residents and really enjoy Midway Park for a weekend getaway. We really like the mostly shaded sites and quiet camping!

Maybe it is the time of year but all the grass areas are loaded with stickers. It was a real issue with our labradoodle.

The park was very clean, in fact, the cleanest, most well kept park that I think I have ever been to. I highly recommend this lovely little park. It also has all the ameneties. The Rangers and Host were also very nice and accomodating. I will definately return.

We were not able to go camping on our reservation because my wife had our daughter the day before we were going camping

The RV site was unlevel so bring your leveling blocks. It had partial shadeas well. The picnic table was covered and had a nice view of the lake. Unfortunately the lake level has been extremely low so we had to go to another park to be able to swim. The bathrooms had nice shower facilities although resident spiders could be found in the corners. The staff and other campers were very friendly. Would recommend for a stay in Waco. The highway noise was not noticeable where we were staying.

The grounds were well kept and clean. The bath house and rest room very neat and clean also. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The campsites were level and had plenty of shade. We had a very good time and are planning on going back in the fall.
