Our first time to camp in a travel trailer was very good. Midway park was everything we needed for our first trip. Easy to back in the RV spot without a back up camera on the camper. Very quiet and beautiful setting.

The woman that checked us in was so kind, and site 5 had a lovely view of the lake. Unfortunately, the restrooms were not very clean, but we made due for one night stay!

The campground is nice little noisy if you are in the full hookups by the highway. Not a big deal reason I only said fair was when we booked the site said 84ft. It isn't even close to that!!! Plus with the trees on both sides made extremely difficult to get in and out with a large trailer. If the site description was better we would have picked a different site. So campground good but we almost didn't get out of that site

We booked one night, then a second nite at another site at the same campground.
Because we didn’t want to move, we talked to Jennifer at the camp office and she was able to give us the second nite at the same spot ( which had lots of trees, a view of lake Waco and the nicest shaded patio.
Thanks Jennifer!!

It was a nice clean park. Hated the grill, has it was not usable, couldn't open the lid all the way.
The park has limited full hook sites, the pull thrus have little shade, but the backs in have great shade.

The campground is very nice and in a great location. We were disappointed that the grass needed mowing and the bathrooms need upgrading and a lot of attention!

Best COE park that we have camped. Cleanest park we have camped. Why can’t all parks be this nice. This must be the diamond of the parks.
